She had gotten her start there and you don't soon forget the first time you see your name in print, back when print was King. I remember when this was making the rounds on air, I heard from people I hadnt heard from in years--the reach of NPR and Maureen Corrigan is just that far flung and powerful

Last year, when we first got wind that THE Maureen Corrigan at @NPR would be doing a review of the book, it sent everyone into a delirious tizzy. When the glowing review came out, it did not disappoint. Like many of the reviewers, Corrigan had a personal relationship with the Voice.

This is the kind of book that makes an essential dog eared paperback [extreme complimentary]

Loved this book, in part because so many of the people interviewed can’t resist mentioning how cheap their rent was.

it is a fundamental aspect of being a creative person!
