Melbourne is definitely necessary. Sydney is more bustling city vibes (more LA) and Melbourne is more laid back artsy city (more SF). Cho Cho San and Bastardo are my favorite restaurants in Sydney.

If you make it to Melbourne, Gin Palace and Meatball & Wine Bar are my faves.
