Question for the #NEISVoid (everyone else just look away): as I appear to be starting my monthly spiral, it seems like things are worse on one side of my body. R knee, r groin, r eye… is this a thing? I’ve suspected this for a while but it’s super obvious today.

My Metrix reader has been life changing, door opening. They are waaaay more accurate than the standard at-home tests. Unofficially: I buy extra swabs and use up to three per test, which brings down the cost and is still accurate if you only need to know if *someone has it.

I don’t know if you can answer this, but if this study produces effective results, will it be broadened as a treatment option for people with other PAIS? I’m excited about this but couldn’t participate because I had PAIS fatigue issues long before Covid finished me off.

My PAIS gets worse/evolves with every major infection. Giardia was one of those for me. I’m always grateful and relieved to see it included in the science.

Sorry you’re suffering. My dog used to volunteer at a local assisted living and memory care place. On two occasions, non-verbal residents started telling me about their old pets. The first time I didn’t even know they were NV until we left the room and the employee escorting me had to take a minute

I did not know that. It has always made my skin crawl to refer to the misappropriaters as such. I’ll get more creative when referring to them.

Anyone recognize this dog? My neighbor is watching him until his owners are found. Pit mix, male, pretty sizable, good at greeting and friendly behaviors and VERY SWEET. No tag, no chip. Surely his family yearns for him. Found in the Standish-Ericson neighborhood in Minneapolis, near Lake Hiawatha.
