Needs to be bigger, surely, to cope with increasingly instability in supply.

The entire Fallout franchise was born with that scene and closing montage backed by Vera Lynn. The half life on Strangelove is insane.

RFK is Ripper for the wellness set. No debate.

Literally the last line as they cross from contempary-terrible B-52 flight graphics involving green sceens and model planes - to Trinity footage.

Only Prime Video for those in NZ. Pay-per-view, but less than half a coffee (~$4).

It opened shortly after JFK's assassination. The Cuban missile crisis was recent history. It directly tackled the madness of its age and mussed the hair of The Man.

Cannot wait until Grok can deliver a contemporary production with Elon as Strangelove and RFK as Ripper. The future is (cornea-scorching) bright!

The flouridation and Marxist conspiracy lines also hit pretty hard given <waves hands at cookers> recent events.

Pay-to-view on Prime. But only ~$4. Worth every modest cent.

Wife and kid hadn't seen before and - as is required by natural law - they laughed maniacially at "You can't fight in here, this is the war room!"

Just rewatched Dr Strangelove. So good. So precient. We cannot afford an autonomous AI kill-chain gap.

I cannot stress how unusual it is in international relations for states to assassinate or kidnap foreign leaders. And Trump’s now done it twice in the past two months.

Think of it as a "break glass in emergency" supplement to the RNZAF. Way cheaper - and vastly more potential capacity - than if run by the NZDF.

I'm not a huge fan of state-owned commercial companies, but after seeing what happened with Covid I'm definitely in favour of Air NZ being govt-owned. The airline functioned as an important logistics lifeline to the Pacific, and having the ability able to surge airlift capacity is a strategic boon.

Chat GPT is ruining news tips. Now every email looks professionally formatted and polished - and I have to spend way longer to determine whether it’s just a crank (most are cranks). Before I could scan for all-caps and the bolded/underlined/italicised combo and triage accordingly.

The SFO doesn't bring nearly enough cases (can some government actually fund them to have more than a few dozen staff?), but it's good to see they're now taking any and all public-service corruption files that come their way.

You should be familiar with the splintering and high-temperature factionalism (often driven by personality clashes) in the activist space. It is universal.

Tax evasion & ICIJ reporting: governments recoup millions Nine years after the Panama Papers helped turbocharge authorities’ pursuit of hidden wealth, the global impacts of ICIJ’s offshore investigations are still being felt.

Even less chance of that here, I think. And at least PP generated recoveries. www.icij.org/investigatio...
