Omg, thank you! Louis' is def a harder character to write than most so really I'm happy read this! It wouldn't be Louis if there wasn't an (unhealthy) amount of unhinged obsessiveness + naturally making others distressed by his presence.

Bluebirds can be leucistic (basically have less pigmentation in their feathers) too! Very "after Prince-fusion" coded ngl.

I already shared this HC in a dc server but... I like the idea of Louis calling Will a "bluebird" as a mocking nickname at first. But then overtime, he starts to use it more affectionately.

(Insert obligatory "bluebird of happiness" metaphor here /lh)

That's true, Louis is more connected to him than his actual son (which is... pretty sad ngl) based on interactions we do see. Old habits die hard too, oof.

I always found that part interesting since we mostly, if not all, things about the king from Louis' POV. Knowing what happened + the king being Louis' (former) idol does add to that too...

Also adding this just to be clear, I'm by no means judging those who do ship this or other ships that I'm either unaware of or not into the appeal of. No fighting about ships please!

I really want to say thank you to the people who can read JP and share the things that weren't carried over in the EN version of M:RF. It's interesting to see everything that didn't make it + deeper analysis of certain cutscenes and lore.
