What was so great about this year’s World Series is that EVERYBODY did their part on BOTH teams. It wasn’t just the stars who contributed, but everyone else. It was so good to watch both teams giving it their all, which culminated in an epic Game 7 dramatic ending. Let’s go Dodgers!!!

The Dodgers game last night was EPIC, stressful, anxiety inducing, and exciting all at the same time. Freddy Freeman was definitely the hero last night, but big shoutout to Will Klein and the Dodgers bullpen. They stepped it up last night. #dodgers #worldseries

Saudi Arabia owns EA, and Xbox Gamepass no longer the value subscription it used to be. What a wild few days. Not sure how I feel about the EA purchase, but I loved Gamepass. I’m going to let the sub expire and purchase my games from Steam from then on.

US Patent Office fucked up so badly, it started a patent war in the gaming industry. Scumbag Nintendo getting those two patents shouldn’t have happened. Now every major company is racing to patent basic gaming mechanics.

Back in late August 2022, I bought the Resident Evil bundle on Humble Bundle. Ever since then, I made a personal tradition of playing at least one Resident Evil game (in order)during the month of October. This year it’s Resident Evil 5. I remember loving this on the PS3. Can’t wait.

Switch 2 game key cards feel like a scam. It’s such a stupid idea. They should’ve just had different size game cards at different prices for small, medium, large, and extra large sized games.

So I’ve never played any of the “The Last of Us” games. So when the TV show came out, I came in blind. I’m so glad I did it this way. My wife and I are thoroughly enjoying the show. Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal are brilliant in it.

Pokémon HeartGold is sooooo good, it’s rekindled my love for this franchise. The endgame activities are so plentiful. I love hunting for legendaries.

After going through the rabbit hole to find the best way to play older Pokémon games, I’ve found the amazing homebrew DS community. Holy crap you guys did a lot of work. Now I’m looking into getting a “New 3DS XL”. Never thought that the ultimate retro Pokémon machine is the 3DS console. Wow!

Getting a Switch 2 got me looking forward to Pokémon Z-A. I haven’t played a Pokémon game since Red and Blue. I’m itching to try the other games before Z-A comes out.

The Switch 2 has rekindled my love for Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. They’re already gorgeous games, but the added resolution, textures, and frame rate bump, it’s on another level.

PlayStation needs to stop trying to chase the live service dragon, and go back to focusing their resources to single player experiences.
