I definitely agree with you there. I normally don't paint with full opacity, but now I'm starting to paint more opaque, which is forcing me to consider what colors to choose. I know you can change those settings, but I try to keep them off. Also, the color dynamics have been a game changer for me.

Morning! I had ball painting this background. I was a bit unsure how to go about rendering the tree bark, but I found it easier to add different shapes on top of the dark base, which would act as some of my cracks. Day 24 of #Heavyjan2026
