It's always so peaceful to sit at the front porch listening to the rain fall. When we get opportunity for peaceful moments It's always good to take them in while the chaos around us comes and goes.

I made it out of surgery perfectly fine. Got the typical after surgery pain, but that will soon pass. I've just been asleep since yesterday around 3:30 because it takes a lot of energy to move rn.

As I prep for surgery, all that is on my mind is that I get to have grilled chicken and white rice afterward. Since I'm not allowed to eat since midnight last night till the surgery is done. I feel like the meal will be a reward.

Should I make this in to a deskmat?
