At the bottom of the photo are ferns growing on the banks of the lake. Above them, the lake is very calm, and there are 2 people on paddleboards. The sky is a very pale blue.

I spotted these 2 paddleboarders when I was walking along the lakefront early in the morning last week. It was very peaceful and quiet.

Those photos brought back memories of my childhood. It was a big treat to go to Margate by train with our buckets and spades. I remember an occasional donkey ride along the beach. 😃
