The Methodist Conference has elected Revd Mark Slaney
to serve as President and Caroline Stead to serve as Vice-President, starting their year of office when the Representative Session of the Methodist Conference opens in Telford in June 2026.
Looking forward to attending this lecture on Thursday evening.

Probably #otd 1940 in the grip of a terrible ice storm that turned pavements into skating rinks our correspondent sent this interesting postcard of Wesley Memorial #Oxford to Polly Bayliss sending her apologies that she could not attend the womenβs meeting at Rose Hill #Methodist Church.

Very excited by a recent donation of archives including this rare image of the pulpit at the former St Michaelβs Street United Methodist Church #Oxford fully decorated for harvest!
