I wouldn't say that we were friends, but we did talk several times. he first reached out to me in 2018 to offer a formal apology for the harassment and doxxing I suffered from 8chan. after that, he kept monitoring the forums, and would let me know whenever people were planning to cause trouble at my public talks and things like that. when I think about brennan's complicated story and legacy, I'm reminded how people can change. his change of heart inspired me to keep creating through hardships. I hope you rest in peace, fredrick. apologies accepted.

Seeing flawed humans being valued and respected while their problems are acknowledged has done more to convince me it's ok to not be perfect than any amount of positivity memes.

i wind up tweeting this basically every time there's an article like this, but the fundamental thing to me: ask yourself whether you earnestly believe there's more social pressure to be trans, or more social pressure to be cis. it's actually a super easy one!

This guys mobility scooter was denied because it was for his physical disabilities, not the vision and hearing ones on his application.

Workforce Australia Contact Issues On hold with Workforce Australia because they require me to book a training course and say you need to call them if there is a session you can't attend to. I have an emergency dentist appointment tomorrow and need to miss the afternoon part of the session. Om hold for an hour, they're saying up to 4 hours longer and that I may not get through today. Is there anyone or anywhere else I can go to sort this out if I don't get in? Can I go to my local services Australia office or email or something?.
