I happen to think that because MPD shot his god damned eyeball out Soren gets as many years as he had the eyeball added to his residency.

It may sound like an exaggeration to say Weinhagen "bought Frey his strong mayor powers" but the Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce was the 100% sole funder of the PAC that campaigned for the strong mayor charter change in 2021.

Equally, these stories remind us that the City Auditor, like the City Clerk, is a rare and important exception in the Charter to the usual rule of Mayoral authority.

It might not be possible to fully boycott the fascist accommodationism of monopoly capital in the short term, but I want to suggest that we should start seriously taking abt stripping these bad actors of their assets when the regime inevitably collapses.

The way that Taylor has been out-reporting the Strib is both a massive credit to Taylor and an embarrassment to the state’s largest media outlet. The levels of completeness and factuality in Taylor’s reporting is truly impressive.
