I’ve lived in the Midwest most of my life and this weekend was the first time I’ve heard about (or experienced) frost quakes.

I’m at my mom’s for the holiday and pulled this mug out of her cabinet. I thought someone made it for her as a joke because the face looks EXACTLY like her (and me) when we’re mad. Nope. She just thought the saying was funny and says she didn’t notice the face. I can’t stop laughing.

Second (and last) for the night was the Santa Slide.

Getting in the Christmas spirit.

This is the part I think I just won't be able to get over.

We could all discuss this until we run out of breath. But the American people CHOSE to elect a fascist, a rapist, a criminal, a racist. A lot of people really, really wanted this.

That's the thing we need to reckon with.

I regret not taking the day off work. Just feeling numb and sad.

I know we’ve been here twice before, but still hard to believe our youngest is starting high school. 😢
