SHRIEKING IT’S BACK AO3’S BACK

an intelligent person would use this time to work on their fan fictions but instead i’m going to doomscroll and try to come to terms with the fact that i just got off work and have to be back at 8:00 am

(this is not a slight at the ao3 team, they’re doing their best and these things happen, i just have a fanfiction addiction and horrible government actions drive me to consume more context of my comfort characters)

cannot believe i have to see all this fuckass news about our horrific government and the choices they make that directly hurt people and ao3 is still down and i can’t even read my silly little stories

we live in a strange time where we feel guilty for feeling joy when theres so much bad happening all the time. i think its important to remember that joy is also it's own form of resistance
