Everyone is entitled to say the sky is green.

Danish biodiversity is abysmal. The agricultural lobby is very strong and the fishing lobby to some extent too. Chemical companies have also been allowed to pump all sorts of shit into the ocean regularly.

But we don't require that. There's just a EU incentive for 5% flowerbeds. Our country is a biodiversity desert and our seas are dead and overfished. It's not in any way, shape, or form a country to emulate ecologically. There's people who care but the agro lobby is very strong.

No, we're not. On top of that 63% of our terrestrial area is farmland, 80% of which is just animal feed. Around 14% is forest, most of which is plantations. The rest is largely urbanized. We barely have any nature, our land and seas are overfertilized, and our lawns look like golf courses.

I'm sorry, but you will find very much that Danes, and much of Europe in general, do not respect nature. Most everything here is farmland or "forests" (plantations that often get clear cut). The manure from the farms chokes the oceans and kills biodiversity. US nature is much more pristine.

Some relevant points have been raised in the replies, but people also forget that American unions, at least on the east coast, have a history of being corrupt and/or connected to organized crime. A lot of it has not been in favor of the common worker.

It's misrepresenting to use "before 30" when most of those deaths were "before 1". A baby that age has no sense of self nor future interests. Nothing was lost to them, though their parents suffered (and possibly them). This is very different from dying at, say, age 29.
