Thank you Zoning & Platting Commissioners! Today, #Austin got one step closer to ending the Euclidean stranglehold: "THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following commercial uses be added to the list of ALLOWABLE uses in all MF zoning categories... and CONDITIONAL uses in all SF zoning categories"

This is why, all else being equal, a two-way protected bikeway is better than two one-way protected bikeways.

The former allows passing, while the latter is often too narrow.

This is not a universal problem, but has been the case with a number of recent Bay Area projects.
