i recently met some developers at work who asked if ChatGPT was allowed in our IT environment because “you know everyone is using ChatGPT for coding these days” and it took every ounce of restraint i had not to say “are you fucking kidding me” out loud to their faces

i’ve tried using copilot a few times at work to write very simple, single function powershell scripts, and it has about a 20% success rate. that said, i’ve learned a lot about powershell trying to unfuck the mess it generates, so maybe it’s not totally useless?
