Mission aborted before it began, unfortunately 😢 No trains were running from Foggy Bottom into Virginia this morning. Will have to try again some other time!

Tomorrow, @freewaterfalliv.bsky.social and I will be attempting a WMATA speedrun. Beginning at around 7am, we will be trying to visit every DC metro station (all 98!) as quickly as possible. The record is 7:40:05, and anything under 8 hours would be amazing. An adventure! Updates here as they occur.

I frequently walk by what is colloquially called “The Barbie Pond” (maps.app.goo.gl/57udwsGxMm7G...), a DC art installation that changes regularly and always includes Barbie dolls. Thought some from outside of DC might like to see. Currently, it’s all decked out for Halloween.
