Water pressures in this area fell below 20 psi due to a 12” water main closure on S. Rocheblave St between Octavia St and Cadiz St, to make a service connection repair in the area.

SWBNO in consultation with the Louisiana Department of Health has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for a portion of Marlyville-Fontainebleau, Broadmoor, Hoffman Triangle and B.W. Cooper neighborhoods which includes:

-S. Carrollton Ave from S. Claiborne Ave to Earhart Blvd

SWBNO, in consultation with the Louisiana Department of Health, has canceled the precautionary boil water advisory for Uptown, the CBD, and the French Quarter

#REPOST Out of an abundance of caution, SWBNO is expanding the area included in the precautionary boil water advisory to include the following areas. We believe that pressures in these areas dropped below 20psi earlier this morning at the same time that the CBD was impacted.

SWBNO will notify residents when testing has begun.

Water pressures in this area fell below 20 pounds per square inch (psi) due to a break on the 30-in water main near S Claiborne Ave and Toledano St. Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans crews are en route and working to isolate the break.

#REPOST SWBNO in consultation with the Louisiana Department of Health has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for a large portion of Uptown New Orleans, bounded by S. Claiborne Ave, the river, Canal Street, and the Pontchartrain Expressway.
