Today’s senseless, unjustified attack on Iran makes everyone in the world less safe. This military action is a mistake, and Congress must take action. Pass the Khanna-Massie War Powers resolution. I believe it is foolish to start another forever war with preemptive strikes. We already made that mistake once.

If President Trump wants to send American armed forces into conflict, he needs Congress to declare war or authorize force. That hasn't happened.

This week, Congress will vote on whether to stop this unconstitutional war: They must vote yes.

Only Congress has the constitutional power to authorize war.

Yet, the Trump administration is once again taking unilateral and reckless military action against Iran, putting both servicemembers and civilians in danger. This is unconstitutional.

Underrated just how much the US and Israel have been desecrating the very idea of diplomatic engagement by doing these obvious bait and switches.

This is the third time now that negotiations were used as cover to prepare for a war already decided. The lesson is to never speak to the US.
