Looks boss that. π
Before retirement, my office was in Alty, been on that 1960s train drunk, cold and wet so many times.
Same here my dear, except the London.

Black and white photo of a twenty something couple outside a church in 1961. Heβs wearing a dark suit with a carnation. She is wearing a cap sleeved black and white dress with white gloves. The front end of his Triumph sports car is visible in the background parked on the grass.
Ten years since my dear Mum passed away aged 77.
Here she is in her early twenties, with my dad, some time around 1961, attending the wedding of my Dadβs youngest sister.
Still miss them both.

How quintessentially English!πππ₯
Man walks past the US embassy in the UK shouting 'bastards'!
So let's hurry up and rename hotdogs, kidney beans, peanut butter, shepherd's pie, fish fingers, chocolate eggs, lady fingers, oyster mushrooms, cream crackers, etc etc!

Strike that! Both are now full on Farage-loving Reformers.
One was telling me how inefficient the public sector NHS is. How only privatisation can save it and make it work again. Absolutely deluded!
Also loved a bar up on La Castellana, just before Cuzco. Breakfasted in there most mornings before work.
Placed my order once on the first morning and the day after, the barman shouted it back at me as I walked in.
Maybe memorable as not so many guiris north of the city.
Sounds very like the classic Madrid bar, of which there are hundreds if not thousands all over the city. Very democratic.
My favourite was in Plaza Santa Domingo. At midnight it was full of pre-clubbers, nightcappers and the bin men having their nightshift break.
A photo of a truck with the word 'Rorisons' on the side, which sounds a little bit like how Scooby Doo would say "Morrisons"

Cooper said that Britain was working with airlines on increasing capacity out of Muscat, Oman to prioritise the evacuation of vulnerable British nationals. Cooper said she was in close contact with her counterparts in the Gulf countries, where 130,000 British citizens have now registered their presence in the region. βWe are also working with airlines on increasing capacity out of Muscat for British nationals, with priority for vulnerable nationals,β Cooper said. βA government charter fight will fly from Muscat in the coming days, prioritising vulnerable nationals, but British nationals in Oman must wait to be contacted by the Foreign Office regarding these options.β
Will Yvette Cooper confirm that wealthy Brits who decamped to Middle East tax havens to dodge their patriotic obligation to pay their taxes won't get free flights?

Out for a pint with *two* right wingers tomorrow.
A traditional working class Brexit Reform and a middle class true-blue Tory.
Wish me luck!
I expect trans rights, immigration and stolen elections will be discussed along with the number of brown people on telly, "the gays" and decarbonisation.
MPsβ basic salary to rise to Β£110,000 by end of parliament, watchdog says.
This should be accompanied by a total ban on second jobs, which in most cases is a corporate bribe. Must end all conflict of interests.
Being a MP is a full time job. MPs must act exclusively as MPs.

Gentle reminder that you don't have to fully boycott Amazon, just stop making it your default. Need socks? Lots of places sell socks. Need printer paper? Need rye flour? Many other options.
"This startup only sells through Amazon!"
Okay, buy that but don't buy the sneakers and coffee beans.
