Here in NYC there's the experience of socialists truly believing "the left is in power" and, in the case of my branch of the UAW, "we are in a position of co-governance." I'm bored so I'm just going to post 8 shots of some of my somewhat obscure or rare publications I've collected over the years. Got most of these in SF, at Anarchist Book Fairs or from friends. I've read more than half of these but not all. Questions or comments welcome. Answers I may not have.

The key issue, I would argue, is that it turns out the 2020 uprisings were mostly ephemeral and transitional for much of the DSA left. It turns out policing can easily become a secondary issue to any number of other things. It’s a sign of a much deeper lack of analysis of the State form.

Being in the anti-capitalist left in NYC right and watching the DSA folks deeply believe the “left is in power” and doing what they can to govern opposition and become cheerleaders for power has been….depressing.
