Just went to a panel at #EuroFurence for all the non-male Furries. A lot of people shared stories about feeling unsafe and lacking in confidence. Afterward I approached a couple of the moderators.
Long story short, looks like next year I'll be applying to lead a Self-defense for FLINTA* Furs panel.

Again: it COULD totally be just a coincidence that I work in IT and am in Hamburg this week...!

I think of 'woke' as seasoning:
Some just can't stand this particular flavor, others love it, most don't care about it as long as the overall dish is good.
But if the dish itself sucks, no seasoning will not be able to save it

Oh, no doubt about it. Ignoring the fact that 'woke' despite being constantly used, still lacks an actual definition, all evidence points to the fact that it barely plays a factor in the success of a media.

The main idea is to debunk the claim that being "woke" hurts the bottom line. If e.g. a movie is a critical acclaimed but nobody actually watches it, it would probably not count. 🤔

I started collecting media (as well as people etc.) which did "go woke" but most certainly did not "go broke" - got any suggestion, that should definitely be included?
