Do we know who killed the Anatolia (sp) and who bombed the school? Assassination is something the Israelis are good at. Us, not so much. Schools and hospitals are more our thing (Baghdad).

Probably won't reach the right audience, but let's get the truth out there. They're making up justifications as they go. Child killers and child rapists must face justice.

There has been a systematic effort to purify (trumpify) the ranks. Apparently, it is successful. We no longer have honorable men in charge. Duty, honor, country has been replaced with blind obedience.

For me, racism has always been about fear. Fear and ignorance.

Yes, but why are the generals going along with it? This won't be a one and done. They have to know that. So, why do what they must know is illegal, unconstitutional? Now is the time for leadership. Where is it? Disobey an illegal, unethical, immoral order.

Is he a good man? Would he help you start your car? Protect your family? This is my problem. The people I know are good people. Yes, they are afraid and that fear has been used to change them, but they are still good people. Good people who I now fear. What else will they do? Will reason return?

Hard to believe my neighbors, my family are the enemy but what they think, feel is. How do we we get the unthinking to think? The unfeeling to feel? How do we open closed minds? Who has the key? Who knows the way? Is it too late? Is there no way back? There must be a way. Let there be a way.

Maybe not totally, but enough it makes no difference. Now the question becomes what do we do about it? He/they have armed thugs roaming the streets. And prisons waiting for us. We have numbers, but what can we do? We can't reason with them. Can we fight them? To what end? Can we live with them?

Unity
I hear the cry for unity. But with whom? There was a time when we practiced unity. We would argue, fight, and get angry, but then we would compromise. I get a little, you get a little. Compromise, then cooperate. Those days are gone. The other side is a cult. You can't compromise with a cult.

We've been warned.

Do the generals know this? Would it be an illegal order? Would they obey? Should they? What will we do?

I would add those who made the cult possible. Not arrest, but neutralize, disenfranchise. Take away their vote until they demonstrate they know what it means to be an American. Make them resident aliens. Most rights and privileges, but no voice. Think what we could do without them holding us back.

Repugs are in a cult. A fascist cult. Their values are not American values. They are in direct opposition to our values. They are anti-American values. We are in a house divided. Can you reason with a cult? Can you live with a cult? Can we live with them? Can you leave a cult? What are we to do?

Let's get better Representatives. First, no parties. Next, no money, public financing. Then, all candidates take an intelligence test (MAB-II) and pass the USCIS (Immigration - history and civics), then sit for an employment interview - what do you plan to fix and how. Oh, yes eliminate the Senate.

If you were a general would you consider this an illegal order? What would you do about it? We know his pet (Chairman of the Joint Chiefs) is uneasy and he ordered the first attack. At which point does duty, honor, country come into play? Might set an scary precedent, or set us on the right path.

For me it's not hatred. It's disappointment. Many in my family are in the cult. They had little choice. They're insular, members of a dogmatic religion, and live in a closed state. They should know about the world, but they don't. They have learned to obey. They are good people, just don't think.

After Restructuring, as an apology to the world, we should pay what we owe to the UN and give up permanent membership and veto on the Security Council. I would hope France and the UK would follow suit. No special treatment for any country. Probably foolish if China and Russia don't.

Darkest before the dawn? Might the magnitude and scope of the corruption and venality be cause for monumental changes? Improvements? We need new systems and laws so this never happens again. We are loathe to change. Maybe this will give us the kick in the butt we need. A new Constitution?

It was the right thing to do. Not convinced she didn't win. The system (Electoral College) beat Hillary. I believe emo and some code beat Kamala. We need a better system.

It's as good as mine. I think most have been conditioned since birth (bozo, emo, Thiel) to be racists, greedy, soulless. Many have never known the good life. They just don't want others to have it. For the rich, they want to use the fear of Jose to control Rufus. They have grace, entitled, favored.

No simple cause and effect. "He pointed out that Trump also increased his support in places with relatively robust local news." Who really knows why people vote against their interests. Culture? Religion? Community? Spite? Anger? Hatred? or willful ignorance? Or, are they wired differently?

How about a no-party system? All they are good for is selecting our choices. What if we made it possible for us to select from a broad field. Have them take an IQ test (MAB-II) and pass the 100 question USCIS test (history and civics). Then take 15-30 minutes to tell us what they want to fix and how

Think they ever will? If not, why do we let the anti-Americans have a say in what we do? Think we might have had M4A, UBI, affordable housing, affordable education, child care, clean air/water/soil, a happier, healthier country? If a registered repug on 01Jan25, you become a resident alien. Maybe?

Not sure what you're referring to, but if it is America 2.0, it won't be from scratch. We have a history. We have a Constitution which just needs a few tweaks. Meaningful tweaks, but just minor adjustments. No 2A , money out of politics, no parties, term limits, expanded court system, and more. Easy

I don't really know. Do we know how he was created? Who or what created him? How much pain was in his life? Where did it come from? It wasn't in his culture (Jewish). From what I know, it wasn't in his family, or community. Where? Find the cause and you might have the cure. Sadly, he is not alone.

It ain't god, he doesn't exist. So, who could it be? Is it wrong to exploit people's fear? Or is there value in hollow promises? Who's at fault, the exploited, or the exploiter? Are the ignorant responsible for their ignorance? For their fear? Half are on the wrong side of the IQ curve.

And money gives that 30% a voice equal to the 70%. Well, what would be 70% if the 40% saw some value in their voice. We have let ignorance and hate have too great a voice. We have given racism, xenophobia, homophobia, misogyny, and bigotry free reign. We made fascism possible, inevitable.
