Nice round figures is all this is about, data is just a byproduct, right?
Hahaha, poor student! We both know more is not necessarily better, and less is many times enough...can be a tough realization. That piece felt a bit like patchwork of two different chapters that were regarded as 'not enough'.

A roadmap to developing unified streptophyte algal model systems
Carrillo-Carrasco and colleagues highlight the importance of the establishment of
streptophyte algal model systems and the community efforts towards this goal.
We've tried to gather and unite the streptophyte algae community all around the world to join forces and develop tools and methods for these critters. Learn more about it on @currentbiology.bsky.social!

Dolf is the fastest poster alive. Please go and check our latests from @poletc.bsky.social. It's been an intriguing and unexpected journey, but this opens the door for new questions in the evolution of signalling molecule response specificity. TL;DR: IAA response in our algae is 'not specific'!
