For what it’s worth, I emailed both of my Senators this evening expressing my opinion on the Republican government funding bill. I am hopeful they will be more resolute than the Senator from New York.

Kind of happy the US beat Canada tonight, I guess, but not really feeling it. I used to love rooting for the US in international competitions, but as with everything else going on here, my enjoyment has been tarnished.

Puts me in the mood to watch a Woody Allen movie.
