The artist, writer and actor recently published "The Sun at the End of the Road" and had a Steppenwolf show planned this month.
Chicago artist Tony Fitzpatrick was best known for his mixed-media collages, drawings, paintings, poetry and theatrical work. His art addressed themes rooted in Chicago life, nature and human struggle.

Grateful for the checkins. It's been one bad thing after another since I lost my job in June, and suddenly I had to deal with the latest bad thing. I'd like to think that it's all nothing a decent job couldn't fix, but my search has been discouraging.
