Activating bench boost, taking the gamble on Joao Pedro starting. Think he could now he’s getting a full rest over the international break - maybe risk of an early sub though. Other fixtures are decent so worth the risk.

Solid end to the transfer window for Leicester, think we’ve done as well as could’ve been done given the time constraints after sorting the finances out. I would say hopefully the club learn from this but, after the way we were mismanaged last summer, I don’t have high hopes… 🤷‍♂️

Don’t think I’m going to panic with my 8 million rank. Looking ahead, GW3 fixtures still look pretty good and I can make a pretty decent looking team with my rolled transfers - just need Palmer to be fit and half the team to start firing 🤣

I think there are some benefits, especially as we get almost a mini wild card in December with the AFCON transfers. Personally, I think I’d like to wait for info on how certain teams rotate around European games first.

Maybe, but looking ahead, with no injuries I can fairly comfortably roll to GW6 and get 5 transfers then. A short term transfer for a few weeks, see how things go and use those transfers as almost a mini wild card could be nice. Bank .5 by downgrading too, in case I want an upgrade elsewhere.

It’s not awful, the only one I’m not keen on is Fullkrug which is why I’m looking for him to come out. Don’t think I’d necessarily want another change, want to stick with Wirtz until at least GW5/6.

Terrible first week - feel like the points from Richards on the bench will be a recurring thing for defenders this season. Looking at a dodgy GW2 fixtures wise as well, don’t really want to FH this early but it’s a possibility. Also looking at a fairly boring Fullkrug -> Mayenda move.

I’ve been tempted as well. Currently staring at Fullkrug vs Chelsea, double Liverpool vs Newcastle and Kudus vs City. Was hard to strike a good balance of good week 1 fixtures and good week 2.

Though, I’m playing both Murillo and Sels, so that might end up cursing them both into a blank again 🤣

For me, it’d definitely be Andersen and Murillo. I reckon Andersen has a solid chance for DEFCON points at least. Esteve might have the same against Sunderland too - he was close to getting it vs Spurs and Sunderland will want to attack this one.

Taken a hit to get 11 players this week rather than using the free hit. Not a great team, particularly in defence but it’ll feel like that for most people. Bruno captain, nearly picked Wood but can’t ignore form and how bad we are.

Committed the cardinal sin of going early with transfers. Tried to avoid doing it as much as possible, but wanted to get in before potentially losing 0.3m of value just before a wild card. I’m ready for the footballing gods to punish me for it now… 😅

Opted to bench Gakpo. Want Wood for next week but didn’t think it was worth a -4 this week when I have at least an adequate starting 11. Taking a risk on Isak starting after Howe’s press conference. I think he might start but get an earlyish sub.

From Slot’s press conference, I don’t feel like Gakpo will get more than 20/30 mins off the bench at most. Opting to bench rather than sell, no other strikers I’d want to take a hit for this week, would rather wait until next.
