It means I will probably lose what little employment I have as I get sicker again.

And I'm a lucky one. I won't die immediately like a diabetic or asthmatic. Just a lot faster than I should.

My community knows I already struggle with medical costs. They know I already fight with insurance every other month and often have to pay out of pocket for my medication.

The current budget means I will likely have to further ration my meds to try and stave off the worst of my conditions.

I will have to start selling off my retro games collection, which is from my childhood. Selling off my magical girl wands, many of which were gifts. That buys me maybe 6 months for everything. I already had high premiums.

I support the US Govt Shutdown. Its about stopping healthcare premiums from DOUBLING Jan 1st for those of us with ACA Marketplace plans.

And preventing catastrophic gutting to Medicaid which dear friends of mine rely on to live.

If premiums double, I can't afford them.

I'm really concerned about the extreme e-waste Microsoft is DIRECTLY causing with the end of security updates for win10 this month.

So many perfectly functional devices are going to landfills and if lucky recyclers because of an already-bypassed security requirement on hardware.
