Not sure what grounds Obama and Clinton could sue for (defamation would mean they’d have to provide serious harm done by Gabbard’s statements… who believes her lies? Could they be considered threatening? Possibly?).

Can former prosecutors speak about cases? IF Maxwell receives a lesser sentence OR walks (in a Blanch deal), can jurors in the (prior) case speak out? It’s not common… but neither would be springing a convicted felon at the behest of our DOJ/Exec Branch for heinous crimes (& PERJURY).

My thought- many in the GOP have taken campaign funds from questionable sources (possibly R Stone & Pres said here ya go- no one will know, unless…). All speculation on my part, however. It’d be one part of where he’d have hold on all these folks. And getting them primaried.

In congresspersons and law enforcement (people who work in the realm of making and upholding laws for others) it should be, if it’s not already a thing, mandatory loss of pension if convicted of a felony. (No “pay out of some of it,” etc.) Just one of the many penalties of committing crimes.

Cannot agree more. The administration shutting this down as we are heading into the next century of the biggest challenge will be climate migration. We could be humane and policy aware and driven.
