I remember I use to stare at Naoko's original illustration for hours when I was teen discovering Sailor Moon and to see that illustration turned Resin Figure just made me just about lose my mind.

Aahhhh forbidden love... who doesn't love a good star crossed lovers story? 💘 Amiright?
I wasn't completely sure in my ability to paint this pair in Manga style, but I wanted this to be as accurate as possible so I hope I did a good job 🥹

While Escaflowne may not be popular today, it was still a series that defined an entire generation.

The 3D model is available to my Patrons for the months of June and July 2025.

I was always bummed that they never really made any good merch, so this figure was kinda like a consolation prize?

I was contacted by a 3D scanning company called Shinning 3D and they sent me their Einstar Vega 3D scanner, I took that tiny Hitomi and gave her new life by

She was originally a kit produced by Kotobukiya back in 97 and she was tiny! a 1/12 scale that was barely 12cm tall. Hitomi is a character that I always liked, not to mention that the series itself was one that marked my late teens and

Some upgrades were done to her like giving her a better watch as the one she had was poorly detailed, real crystal gems were added to her guns, earrings and watch.
The base was custom made to the request of my client, the summoning circle works as a lamp as well

Finally! And while I feel a great deal of satisfaction with how she turned out, I still feel a little sad right now because I won't get to to keep her 🥲
This was a very overdue commission that my client had been patiently waiting for me to get to it.

I'm happy that she's almost finished and I'm very excited to show you how I did this in the video.

I've never encountered something like this before and I have to say that I'm pretty proud off pulling this off, it may not be perfect but it definitely helped a lot!

I wanted to make that part more esthetically pleasing and though of an experiment and to my surprise it worked
Usually when you want to remove a connection line you putty and sand smooth in the middle of painting but how do you get around that when you have a lot texture you need to keep?

The infinite masking and the paint stripping were not even half as anxiety inducing as the final touch to Bayonetta's body, and that was removing the connection line on her legs, everybody I've ever seen paint her leaves them in and it always looked horrible too me

Pain? I dunno her 🫠🫠🫠
