Unfortunately things have taken a turn for the worse and the doctors say that Auntie is approaching end of life. My parents and I are leaving for Trinidad tomorrow to be with her.

Jan 31 update!

The Trinidadian embassy has intervened on our behalf and is working with my family to find a more affordable medevac option to return Auntie to Canada. Nothing confirmed yet, but we're making all the phone calls we need to.
