Part of that task will continue to be weeding out falsehoods. I urge us all to follow trustworthy news sources and to fact check before resharing. Reacting to false threats just gets in the way of responding to the real ones. Snopes and Heather Cox Richardson are good places to start ❤️

My FB feed is so full of misinformation from"liberal" sources at the moment. I'm hoping we all settle down a bit, soon, so we can get down to the serious work of resistance. We (i.e. those who see our democracy in serious danger) need to focus on responding to the very real threats.

This kind of good government policy that actually matters in the lives of voters rarely if ever gets attention in the media and when it kicks in, the beneficiaries rarely know why it happened or who to thank, which is how you end up w/the election result in November 🙃
