I work in tertiary education and see the increase every year in the anxiety young people suffer. I wonder what impact the pass/fail, one size fits all nature of exams will have on teenagers. The old school cert etc system ensured 50% fail, grades scaled, and not many left at school by 7th form.

When the voting booth was at my local primary school back in the day the PTA.would have a fund raising stall there on the day. Nothing wrong with that. It didn't influence my vote in any way.

I came across a very grumpy taxi shuttle driver in Wellington yesterday. Moaning about the cycle lanes and how no-one uses them. Think he may need to look closer. Also.thinks the rares rise was due to the cycle ways. I'm not from Wellington but thought there may be other factors.

If accurate, this is farcical. & inconsistent with the basics of good legislative practice, making it crystal clear the Bill isn't a good faith attempt to improve such. Insincere & undemocratic. & adds to a lack of legitimacy making it v easy for the next govt to justify repealing immediately.
