UGA ranks second in the nation for Boren Awards in 2025 Seven UGA undergraduates were selected as Boren Scholars this spring and will receive funding to study critical languages.

Not only is UGA ranked second in the nation for Boren Awards, almost all of the recipients this year are IA majors! Congratulations to all of UGA's 2025 Boren Award recipients!

We'll soon be closing the books for spring semester, and if you'll be leaving Athens just for the summer or for good, don't send unwanted but usable items to the landfill! Starting this Wednesday through May 8 you can donate those items to University Housing's Dawgs Ditch the Dumpster Program.

The 2025 SPIA Undergraduate Research Colloquium will be held this Friday, April 25, from 9 am to 4 pm in the Richard B. Russell Special Collections Library. Check out this terrific schedule of panels and presenters that will be going on throughout the day. We look forward to seeing you there!
