Working on a new type of speech bubble with jagged edges, now I need to make it update independently of the mouse movement. This wasn't needed for the previous speech bubble because it was static. #gamedev

Trying out a different texture behind the speech bubbles to distinguish them from the footnotes, for which I am using the normal narration box. I'm noticing the legibility is kind of bad when scaled down but it looks okay at full res, though maybe the outlines could get thicker. #gamedev

During today's stream I mostly did some scripting and troubleshooting around a gap in the action sequencer that allowed the player to start two dialogues at once, but I also drew some new expressions for Julian and the walkers to work with their final dialogues. #gamedev #art #cartoons

Here's the last drawing of Julian from my office hours stream last night. Now I just need to spend some time touching up the backgrounds and the first 2/3 scenes will be asset complete. #gamedev #threejs

in America the word for game library is "backlog", which literally means "a large log placed at the back of a fireplace to maintain a fire". I think that's beautiful
