Part of me is so down for the idea of a union, the other part of me is so afraid of it.
It's so difficult for newer artists (and even some established artists) to find work as it is, and companies tend to HATE unions where I live (US), but they're so needed to help with fair labor practices.
The amount of work I've done that I can't show... I remember creating this awesome desert landscape for a game with a giant monster skeleton and pools of green, steaming acid.
By the time the NDA was up it no longer fit my portfolio. I was so proud of it at the time though.
Me, this morning: "I'm done with today! I've been working 2 weeks straight. I'm taking a day off!"
My Bestie: "YEAH! DO IT! TAKE THE DAY!"
Me: "I'M GETTING STARBUCKS AND LAYING IN BED ALL DAY!"
2 hours later, Me, at the computer, working with Starbucks in hand: "Wait what?"

How the deeper meaning in them other than "pretty picture" gets lost and how we want to be more "raw", but it's so scary to be so revealing on social media.
I don't know anything about this company, but I saw this job post earlier and thought of you because they're looking for a "modern cartoon style" and your work is just beautiful;
