I agree with Shelby Foote. He was the author of a massive history of the Civil War and one of the “stars” of Ken Burns’ brilliant documentary.

Oh I agree. I was just sharing some data. My numbers don’t justify a $100 base price. I like keeping an inflation adjusted price or lower, and having higher tiers for those who want to splurge.

I 💯 get the concern about wage stagnation. However, we’re talking about completely disposable income here, not housing, clothing, transportation, medical care, etc.

FWIW… GTA 3 was $50 in Oct 2001, or $89 today. GTA 4 was $60 in April 2008, or $88 today. GTA 5 was $60 in Sep 2013, or $81 today. You could charge $80 and still be below all inflation adjusted prices.

I love how the covers of the original Star Wars movie adaptation played loose and fast with the actual plot. This is issue 6, wrapping up the movie.

How about that? 1111 straight days reading in the Kindle, which is a little more than 3 years. I’d have over 6 years if not for some Kindle snafu 1111 days ago that caused me to have to start my streak again. 😆

It’s good. It’s like Star Wars meets ET.
