I am sick of people bashing other Dems. Don’t do it. I unfollow & block. This site has influencers that post clickbait to earn money. Call your reps & senators. Arrange protests if you can. Do something. But quit attacking Dems who don’t always agree with you on social media.

I am sick of authors with books out after the fact. If there was something we needed to know in 2020 or any other time before the election, that is when it should have been released by whatever method necessary. I am not paying for a book now.

The agreement is most likely not legally binding if not in writing with the court’s signature. The court could seal it maybe. A plea agreement is not like a verbal contract cause attorneys don’t just take the opposing side at their word & the criminal judge is who enforces the plea agreement.

They should not. If those agreements are not in writing in the presentence report or the sentencing order, the defendant has no recourse if the US attorney or the parole/probation officer doesn’t abide by the off the books agreement. 1/

So, if I’m reading this correctly, Congress appropriated a bunch of funds for specific purposes. Musk will be throwing that out the window and disregarding the law they enacted. But individual legislators can call a hotline and beg for their pet projects to be spared. That’s how we’re doing it now.

To be clear, police don’t necessarily read rights to people as they are being arrested. Rights are read after arrest when they want to ask questions where the answers can be used as evidence against them in court. You must already be “in custody” & being questioned, informally or formally.
