Vandaag is met een speciaal wegtransport vanuit Zwitserland de geïsoleerde behuizing van het METIS-instrument aangekomen bij de Universiteit Leiden. Deze zogenoemde cryostaat koelt de onderdelen van het METIS, een van de eerste instrumenten van de Extremely Large Telescope.
