Who we imagine as part of our world today (and who we don’t) is the foundation of the real world tomorrow.

This ouster is in retaliaton for working to make an institution align with its values of equality by attending to racial oppression. The political intervention shows whiteness shall not be challenged without consequence, & a clear overreach and violation of institutional autonomy.

Florida’s GOP Presidential Hiring Spree Last week the Florida Board of Governors approved three new presidential hires with ties to Governor Ron DeSantis and the GOP, a trend that is clearly growing across the state.

The intervention of politics into higher education, and other spheres, is an attempt to shape the country’s future by defining who is a citizen and who is not, in a cultural sense by creating legal definitions of ‘American’ contrary to democracy and equality.
