This weekend TX SWMS participated in Meridian School’s Arts and Science Fest!

Students got the chance to check out some microscope specimens, coral and urchin skeletons, and dive gear, and helped us build our own coral reef throughout the day!

Remotely operated Vehicles (ROVs) give us an up close view of hard to reach habitats. See how scientists learn about and restore the deep sea in the Gulf of Mexico during a live discussion at sea!

Conducting research activities on the ocean requires people to live and work on a ship for weeks and months at a time. Join folks live from R/V Point Sur in the Gulf of Mexico to learn about their routines and experiences!
