A haiku about running in Boulder after a snow storm:

Streets mostly snow-free
But sloshy mounds at curb ramps
Make me want to scream

Could it be related to the same reason why I, a grown-ass woman with critical thinking skills, am way more terrified of getting struck by lightning than the much, much, more likely scenario of dying in a car accident?
