Poll: 8 in 10 Brits would support the UK generating more energy by expanding the UK’s renewable energy infrastructure, including nearly two thirds (65%) of Reform supporters.
The new YouGov survey for Friends of the Earth also finds broad public support for fair climate policies.

He creates the problem, and the weaponises it to sew further fear and anger. No solutions - just an agent provocateur.
Thank you. Hence my caution with the Telegraph.

When you hear Reform UK politicians kicking off about binning net zero, remember that the vast majority of them were either the architects or cheerleaders for Brexit. We can all see how that worked out.
NEW POLL: This is quite the turnaround.
A majority would vote to Remain - and by a long way.
In fact, if you were to remove “don’t know” & “wouldn’t vote”, that’s 64% vs 36% in a referendum.

BBC News - Lib Dems call for cap on SEND school profits
www.bbc.com/news/article... This would be a positive step forward. It is entirely wrong that private equity and others are benefiting at extraordinary levels from the needs of children.
end the profiteering - cap SEND provider profits
It is an absolute scandal that private equity companies are profiteering from the crisis in SEND education.
Liberal Democrats would cap these exorbitant profits at 8% to put money into the SEND system, not shareholders’ pockets.
It's time to put our children first, not corporate greed.

I’m delighted to be backing @joshbabarinde.bsky.social for Party President.
I’ve seen first hand how he’s reached out to connect with our young members at regional conferences and with university societies, and I’m confident his experience will help us grown in Labour-facing areas.
Education Education Education - obviously missed that era.

This is the idiocy we would see in the UK fn Reform get anywhere near power. Denial and more denial from their wealthy fossil fuel funding high polluters. They are not at all on the side of the most vulnerable in society. They just want to protect their rich mates

In my experience, officials are doing their best to keep councils safe and legal, preventing a bunch of unknowns, working for free out of the goodness of their hearts (sure) from accessing personal data - which would be breaking the law. It's Farage smoke and mirrors.
