Started watching a really popular action-psychological horror dystopian anime called 𝘕𝘦𝘰𝘯 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘴 𝘌𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘰𝘯. It’s about a global military force that uses humanoid mechs to battle Angels, monsters that threaten all of humanity. It’s really good so far. The Evas are awesome.

With how I want my series to feature references to pop-culture here and there, I might try and put in an in-universe video game franchise that serves as a reference to 𝘗𝘰𝘬é𝘮𝘰𝘯, maybe even having its own in-universe anime series. I definitely wanna do something like that for 𝘚𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤.

The nostalgia I get from this image alone is insane. I remember popping in that 𝘕𝘢𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘰 DVD for the first time and witnessing one of my all time favorite series to this day, with each episode concluding with this treat of an ending. It’s gone on to be one of my favorite songs ever. What a feeling.

Remember when everyone thought this was real? This shit terrified me as a kid.

Funny story, I stated my opinion in a post about Donkey Kong’s new design and everyone lost their shit it was amazing. Incredible how people freak out over different opinions on a video game character’s design. That’s just X for you 🤣😂
