My mom started my brother and I on another card game from before Magic. When the toy store in our small town couldnt get it any more, I saw the Portal starter set and picked it up. I didnt like it at first but started playing during Kamigawa after playing Yu-Gi-Oh for about a year.

I own an embarrassment of Kamigawa rat cards because of this card. Which...I no longer own, ironically.
