Childhood fears included (and still do) The Woman In Black as portrayed by Pauline Moran…and the book itself is chilling 😱 I’m now scared of heights 🙄

I’m with Si on this - it obviously has that CH quality stamp, but it’s a background track, as is most of the album for me. The middle section is lovely. Still, it stands testament to the fact that even with this quality, it doesn’t really register on the CH greatest moments. What a band 🤘🏻

I’m currently revisiting a wonderful book by James Aitcheson. The Harrowing tells of the aftermath of the Norman conquest. It is bleak but powerful and follows five characters and their journeys. Are they fleeing the Normans or their own secrets?

A great review - and a book that sounds like a fantastic read. I love that it features a touch of supernatural without being terrifying for younger readers. Sounds like an absolute must for any school library.
