One thing I will say as a person who has stopped attending large protests is that at least Tesla Takedown people have a *better* understanding of what it means to plan an action with specific targets and demands

I received a heartbreaking email today: A paper in a special issue I’m editing is being retracted because one of its authors is afraid of losing their job and their legal status in the U.S. if they publish a scientific study on evolution. Yes, on evolution, nature's engine of diversity.

We are nearly 18 months into perhaps the most openly broadcasted and declared genocide in history. I have zero interest in pretending to try to "persuade" or "debate" anyone at this point. If you're still supporting or denying the reality of genocide, that's simply who you are.

What is happening at Columbia University is not about Israel. It is about the government exploiting a divisive issues to set a precedent that the government has the right to punish political speech that runs counter to the party line. That is fascism plain and simple.
