Historical Fact: Knud Brorson (1846–1893) helped pioneer the Adventist mission work in Denmark and Norway, together with John G. Matteson. Brorson was the first Adventist missionary to work among the Sami people in Norway.

Dr. Denis Kaiser, Associate Professor of Church History at Andrews University wrote the biographical sketches and the majority of the annotations in The Ellen G. White Letters and Manuscripts, with Annotations, volume 2, 1860-1863 (Ellen G. White Estate, 2024).

Historical Fact: Walter Bond, together with his brother Frank, were the first Adventist missionaries to Spain. Walter became the first superintendent of the Spanish Mission, and established Barcelona as the genesis for the Advent movement in Spain.
