It was rough at first, but once I got into the swing of things, I almost couldn’t stop. I threatened creating an actual character with a curse like this for a whole campaign.

Hank, a blonde human clad in green leather and padded armour, kneels before a priest. He's wearing a crown, and have a blue embroidered cloak with fur collar trim. Behind him in the cathedral is some guards, and the rest of his party members. Rose petals are falling down in celebration of his coronation.

Karlach, a red skinned tiefling clad in leathers, is sitting on the ground with her hand clasping the hand of her sparring partner. He's a tanned human man, dressed in a short leather jacket, and purple shirt. Karlach's wood training sword lies down in the right corner. On the level above them, Shadowheart is dropping a few gold coins in into a smirking Astarion's hand, having lost the bet on the sparring match.

Ayy, got to paint best girl Karlach for D&D's new Forgotten Realms Adventure Guide. :D Painting the coronation scene was such a fun challenge as well.

Oh! I’ve never done a comic cover before

Earlier this year, my friend Ben Zweifel and I did a style exercise where we imagined a pretend #BuffytheVampireSlayer game. I created the character illustrations and text box and Ben created the environment. It was a fun experiment and allowed us to work outside our usual styles.
